Shop 'till you Drop!

I had a LOT of fun today! I went to lunch and shopping with my grandma, and I got a ton of new things to wear in New York City! Now I'm even more excited to go :) Another thing that makes today wonderful is that my mom and sister are coming home tonight! (I wish my other sister was, too!) It will be good to have them home and we will, I'm sure, have tea time and chocolate when they get home tonight :)
While we are waiting for them, my dad and I are going to go out for dinner! I'm not sure where yet, though.

I CAN'T WAIT FOR NYC!!!!

Lazy Sunday

Today was a very relaxing day for me, and it's about to get fun!
I started my day with an extremely moving video at church, and then had lunch with my sister and parents (missing one sister!) at my favorite place--Chili's!
After eating at Chili's my sister, mom and I played scrabble and had multiple cups of hot tea! My sister and I then went out and she ran 5 miles while I biked. It feels good to be active and the weather was absolutely perfect!
The evening is going to be entertaining, due to the fact that my grandpa is coming over and he, my dad, my mom and I are going to play Euchre and have snacks! I'm very excited to win, because I talk trash to my dad and we have a running tally. (let me interject that I am currently in the lead!!!)

NYC!!

So excited :)
I just found out yesterday that I get to visit NYC soon! This is going to be amazing. I've never been, and can't wait to go. My boyfriend surprised me with the trip :)
While I'm there, I'm planning on scouting out as many magazine companies as I can! This is perfect timing, and a great opportunity. Things couldn't be working out any better! My countdown starts NOW!

Following a Dream

I spoke last time of seeing where this blog would take me. It appears that, so far, it has taken me nowhere! I have decided I'd better get to it, and start doing what this site was meant for.

I recently decided to follow my dream, and change my degree to Marketing. In doing so, I'm readying myself for (hopefully!) a job with a magazine in the near future. I am contemplating minoring in Journalism (not sure if this would help? any advice would be welcomed with open arms). I'm so excited about this! This blog will be used to document my journey, post random things that I find intriguing or fun, and also just to continue to practice writing. 

And so it begins!

Here goes nothin'!

I don't usually do things like this, but sitting here on Saturday night, by the warm fire, after eating at my favorite place in the whole entire world (Chili's), I decided I would make a blog. Originally, I was going to simply set up a name so that I could follow my sister's blog,- I Run To Be...

upon creating a name, I soon figured out that I actually had to MAKE a blog, and become instantly witty and figure out something to intrigue others to stay tuned. I suppose I will post anything I find interesting ; clothes, healthy recipes, good workouts, tips and crafts... so since this is the case and the current predicament I (and my sister) have placed myself in, we will see where this blog takes me!
